This is a video of Tom Scott taking flight strapped to a personal blimp. The experience, available at Aéroplume Écausseville in Écausseville, France, costs about €60, for which they’ll strap you to a dirigible filled with 70,000 liters of helium and let you float around an airplane hanger. That’s fun. But how much will it cost to let me pilot one outside? Asking for someone who’s convinced Icarus could have gotten much closer to the sun with a blimp.
