This is a video of pastry chef and chocolatier Amaury Guichon (previously) making an incredibly intricate — and delicate — nautilus sculpture entirely from chocolate. Wow! The process is pretty fascinating, and includes layering chocolate on semi-inflated balloons to form semi-spherical shapes. I wonder how much time in total it took to create. Because I could easily eat that whole thing in 45 minutes, tops. When reached for comment about the chocolate cephalopods, Willy Wonka said he’s kept an aquarium full of them since the 70’s. Unfortunately, when asked what I should do about the Everlasting Gobstopper in my butt, he just gave me the old ‘I SAID GOOD DAY!’ routine.
