This is a video of percussionist El Estepario Siberiano (aka The Groovefather) discussing his homemade tubulum PVC pipe drum kit, and performing AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’ on it, just 24 hours after constructing it and playing it for the first time. I assume that’s where his percussion background comes in handy. You know, one of my friends has a homemade tubulum at his apartment, but I’ve never actually seen it played, just a group of idiots stand over it while another idiot farts into a random tube below. Which is exactly what I imagine the Blue Man Group does at afterparties.
