Because Peacock wants to remind you that they have The Office now and you should pay for their streaming service and not just borrow your girlfriend’s mom’s password *wink* this is a previously unseen cold open from the show’s ninth season starring Dwight and Hank the security guard (Hugh Dane, rest in peace) in a Matrix themed bit. Was I surprised about Dwight’s choice of pill? Yes. Me? I would have taken both pills simultaneously and finally put an end to the Matrix. Or died trying. Probably died trying, since you really can’t go mixing pills like that all willy-nilly.
