Further proof (not that I needed any more) that world governments have been running clandestine space missions for quite some time, a recent image captured by NASA’s Curiosity rover clearly shows a Starfleet insignia in a pile of rocks atop the red planet’s Mount Sharp (Aeolis Mons). Obviously, NASA is not in the know about these secret missions, or there would have been a coverup before this image was released. I can only assume if Curiosity was able to dig around the insignia it would discover the remains of a highly advanced spacecraft that crashed there. Just not that highly advanced though, or it wouldn’t have crashed in the first place.
