Because the robot apocalypse can’t come soon enough, these are several videos (one from Fort Pierce, Florida, three from the East River in New York City — slide the slider on the first Instagram video to see the second) of people walking Boston Dynamics’ Spot robotic dog on leashes. Obviously, it won’t be long before the robot dogs are walking us on leashes and making us perform circus tricks for our robotic overlords. And I will be ringleader of the human circus because I glued several broken circuit boards to my body and made the argument I’m a robot myself. The real robots obviously know I’m not, but gave me a managerial position anyways for my enterprising spirit and willingness to shoot people out of cannons.
