This is a short video from Texas following the string of nasty winter storms there of an outdoor ceiling fan that formed icicles on its blades while it was still spinning, causing the icicles to grow outward due to the centrifugal force acting on the water droplets. Should you even have the fan spinning with water and ice collecting on in the first place? Probably not. I mean this isn’t exactly mid-August, you don’t really need the artificial breeze while you sip a cocktail and watch the lawn care company mow the yard.
