A number of artistically designed restroom signs have recently drawn controversy in China, with the confusing signs ranging from geometric shapes to animals to abstractions. Several people who have needed to pee have even expressed being unable to distinguish which restroom they’re supposed to use. Wow, that’s when you really know you’ve blown it as a bathroom sign designer. Fingers crossed they aren’t also designing road signs.
