This is some security cam footage from Wautoma High School in Wautoma, Wisconsin of a lightning bolt absolutely wrecking a defenseless pine tree. What Zeus has against the Ents, I’m not sure. Per the video, “So the National Weather Service slogan ‘When Thunder Roars Go Indoors’ please heed that advice next time you hear thunder.” Wait — ‘When thunder roars go indoors?’ I’ve never heard that before. I always thought it was ‘When the sky is unsettled, grab something metal.’ Or at least that’s what my dad always used to tell me before sending me outside in the rain with a curtain rod.
