This is a video of Danny Elfman performing at Coachella over the weekend, and covering The Simpsons theme he composed all the way back in 1989. That was 33 years ago. Danny looks great for 68 too — very sprightly. I only hope I have as much vim and vigor when I’m that age, but I’ll probably just be a pile of painful joints and not wanting to get out of bed in the morning. So really not that much different from now, but with even more yelling at neighborhood kids to get off my lawn, even though I don’t have a lawn because my children stuck me in an old folks home at 46 because they’re ungrateful little shits.
