It does involve grabbing your thwart and yoke, which I do all the time, capsized boat or not. First you right the canoe, then you bail out any water before getting back in yourself, all while remaining calm and focused. Easy for you to say, I owe a lot of these gators money! Of course an even easier way to get back inside a capsized canoe is to never capsize your canoe in the first place. The easiest way? Don’t ever go canoeing. Swamp boats are really where it’s at anyways.
