Mushrooms: they’re so unlike anything else on earth that, just like octopuses, there’s no question they came from outerspace. But enough about the truth you can’t handle, this is a beautifully shot timelapse video from Another Perspective (previously) of shitake mushrooms growing over the course of ten days. Stunning, right? It’s hard to believe that eating just a few of those dried caps will send you on the trip of a lifetime. “Shitake mushrooms aren’t psychedelic.” So….. “So stop eating them by the handful.” I WANT TO SEE GOD.
