This is a world map detailing the average lifetime toilet paper usage for different countries, measured in total number of rolls. As you can see, English speaking countries use an absolute shit-ton of toilet paper, with the average American using 141 rolls per year (almost 3 a week?! Lay off the Taco Bell), and a lifetime usage of 11,155 rolls. That translates to 634 miles of TP, with the last few miles presumably being wiped for you. Of course if you were able to zoom and enhance the map to where I live, you’d see a tiny white square where no toilet paper is used at all, only magazines and my roommate’s washcloth.
