It's alive! IT'S ALIVE! Just kidding, it's dead.
Engineer Creates Dry Slime, A Hydrophobic Slime Material

This is a video of chemical engineer James Orgill of The Action Lab producing what he’s dubbed dry slime — slime that has been mixed with fumed silica (available on Amazon — often used as a thickener and anticaking agent) so it forms strings that don’t want to stick to each other, or your hands. He says it’s fun to play with, which I believe, but what he didn’t mention is how it tastes, which *flipping table in frustration* I’m sorry, I just thought we were  doing actual science here.

Thanks to Allyson S, who agrees tasting is the most important part of the scientific method.
