This is a video of nature lover and wildlife rehabilitator Robert Fuller of Yorkshire, UK documenting the process of rescuing Whisper, a helpless baby stoat that was abandoned by her mother, and rehabilitating her for rerelease into the wild. Along the way Robert rescues another baby stoat, Stuart, so the two have the chance to interact with their own kind before venturing out into the great big world. Honestly, if I were either of these stoats I would have just stayed in the outdoor pen Robert built, but that’s just me and I’m not cut out for life in the wild. “Oh hell no,” I imagine telling Robert while I begin unpacking my little stoat-sized suitcase and asking him to run a bath.
