Giant Smiley Face Appears When Trees Change Color In The Fall

Because, despite the world burning, fall allegedly nears, here are a couple videos of the autumnal happy face planted by Hampton Lumber near mile marker 26 on Oregon State Route 18 while reforesting the area for future harvesting in 30-50 years. The face, which is made up of larch trees with needles that yellow and drop in the fall, is surrounded by douglas firs, which do not lose their needles in the fall, for the contrast. That’s cool. We can only hope this is the first thing aliens see when they first come to visit earth, that way maybe they’ll briefly pause to admire the giant smiley before mashing the big red button that lasers the entire planet in half like we deserve.
