This is a visualization created by Youtuber and possible superhero Captain Gizmo of the most played arcade games, by earnings, and adjusted for inflation throughout the past three decades. Wait — does that say Pac-Man has earned $15-billion?! Pac-Man and Space Invaders, damn, I wish I’d invented those games and only let arcades RENT the machines for a portion of the profits. I could be swimming in quarters Scrooge McDuck style right now. I didn’t though so instead I’m swimming in past-due utility bills and empty fast food bags. “Any fries left?” Like I haven’t checked a thousand times.
